Texfin® HPLF - Highly durable fluorocarbon for all round use
Technical Properties
Texfin® HPLF has been specifically designed to impart water and oil repellent properties with a very high degree of durability.
It is predominantly for use on cellulosic fibres such as cotton and linen but can also be used for all major synthetic fibres and their blends.
Application
To achieve maximum performances, substrates are required to be free from surfactants / salts and are neutral prior to finishing.
Application levels will vary from substrate to substrate and preliminary trials are recommended to determine optimum levels, however the following figures should provide a suitable starting point.
| 100% Cotton | 30-80g/l at approx 80 % p/u |
| Polyester/Cotton | 30-60g/l at approx 70 % p/u |
| Nylon & Polyester | 30-50g/l at approx 60 % p/u |
Typical dry and cure conditions are 160°C for 1 – 2 minutes
