Technical Properties
The product has excellent wetting properties and is suitable for enzyme desizing, scouring, peroxide bleaching and washing.
Scourtex OFW is low foaming above 40°C and does not gel upon dilution with water making it suitable for automatic dosing systems. GOTS Approved product.
Applications
Conditions vary according to equipment and substrate but typically they should be carried out at the boil followed by thorough hot and cold washes. Lower temperatures of 50 - 60°C will provide better results for protein fibres.
