Texfin® 911 FR -Durable flame retardant emuslion for high performance flame retardancy
Technical Properties
Texfin® 911FR is a durable collapsed foam flame retardant back-coating compound. It is very effective with difficult fabric blends due to a quick reaction time to flaming and is predominantly for application to upholstery fabrics of cellulosic and synthetic nature.
Texfin® 911FR is applied by foaming unit on knife over air, knife over roller or profile systems.
Application
Texfin® 911FR will meet the requirements of BS5852 Ignition sources 0 and 1 (cigarette & match) after BS5651 cleansing and wetting procedures at recommended usage levels of between 15 – 40 % dry add on depending upon fabric type.
It will also meet the requirements of BS5852 Crib Ignition source 5 on certain fabrics however guidance should first be sought from Texchem UK LTD prior to application.
Texfin® 911FR will require a cure of between 140 - 180°C.
