Texfin® MTFR - Flame retardant for matress coverings
Technical Properties
Texfin® MTFR is a clear, non-durable, halogen free flame retardant designed for pad application. Texfin® MTFR may be applied to cellulosics, synthetics and its blends. This product has been designed for use on wall coverings, mattress ticking and non-wovens for the car industry.
It is non-corrosive to nails, staples and other metals used in bedding.
Application
Recommended usage levels are 175 - 400g/l based on a 100% wet pick-up. 10% dry add on is sufficient enough to obtain good flame retardant results.
Texfin® MTFR requires a cure of 120 - 140°C.
