An aqueous fluorocarbon resin dispersion. Its unique properties allow it to be applied as a standard fluorocarbon but high temperatures are not required for curing to gain effective results. Temperatures above 30°C are not necessary to achieve very high standards of repellency; however elevated temperatures can be employed to achieve optimum processing efficiency.
Please ensure that substrates are free from surfactants and are neutral prior to finishing. It can be applied to the majority of substrates, but the best performance and durability results are obtained when applied to synthetic fibres.
Spray application: It is advised that when applying Texfin® NCF by spray application, suitable respiration equipment should be used as to avoid inhaling air-borne particles.
For spray application, dilution to a 10% solution should be efficient.
Levels of 40 to 100g per square metre are sufficient to give effective results.
Pad application: Excellent results can be achieved from levels as low as 30g/L. Dying times and temperatures are dependant upon processing limitations.
