Texfin® PDC FR - Durable Flame retardant for cellulosic fibres
Technical Properties
Texfin® PDC-FR is a durable flame retardant for application to cellulosic fibres / fabrics. It is not suitable for treating blends of fabrics unless they are 100% cellulosic fibres. When applied under the recommended conditions Texfin PDC-FR will meet the requirements of BS5852 0 & 1; BS5651; BS597 0 & 1; BS5438; BS7177; EN533; NFPA701; NFP92-504.
Application
Recommended finishing application is by the conventional pad-dry-cure method.
It is generally applied at levels of 350 – 450g/L, in conjunction with a melamine resin and phosphoric acid; please refer to the data sheet for full processing details. Fabrics applied with Texfin® PDC-FR require a wash off process.
