Texfin® 50 SF - Cost Effective Stable Foam Flame Retardant finishing
Technical Properties
Texfin® 50 SF is a concentrated durable flame retardant back-coating. It is predominantly for upholstery fabrics of cellulosic, synthetic or blends. Texfin® 50 SF is applied by conventional methods of back-coating through foaming the compound and crushing as required.
Application
Recommended usage levels are between 15 – 40% o.w.g. In certain circumstances, the level of application can be reduced dramatically to improve efficiency savings in time and cost.
Texfin® 50 SF will require a cure of between 130 - 170°C.
Texfin® 50 SF will meet the requirements of BS5852 Ignition sources 0 and 1 (cigarette & match) after BS5651 cleansing and wetting procedures. It is also suitable for certain Crib 5 requirements.
