Technical Properties
Texsoft AF is a non yellowing, shear stable silicone nanoemulsion for high quality hydrophilic finishing of cellulosic, synthetic and blended articles.
Texsoft AF imparts a very soft and smooth handle to all substrates and exhibits excellent hydrophilic properties providing effective and rapid moisture transport and regain.

Illustration of Hydrophilic Properties
The fabric used in this illustration is 100% polyester sportswear fabric, designed to transport moisture quickly and effectively from the body. If a conventional silicone softener is applied to this fabric, it impairs the properties of the fabric as it is naturally hydrophobic. Texsoft AF does not affect the fabric and actually helps increase the fabrics properties as can be seen. Texsoft AF can also be applied to naturally hydrophobic fibres to increase their absorbency and wicking properties as desired.
