Technical Properties
Texsoft TL1 is a unique, aqueous, silicone softener designed specifically for application to tissue products to provide a smooth, soft, luxurious handle. Ready-to-use Formulation, Dermatologically pH Balanced, Negligible effect on strength reduction.
Reduces coefficient of friction by up to 70% over the untreated web
Can be utilised as a base product for incorporation of consumer enhancement products such as Vitamins and Herbal / Botanical extracts such as Aloe Vera
Application
Depending upon initial softness of the tissue, a coverage quantity in the region of 1.2g to 1.5g of Texsoft TL1 per square metre should be applied.
As a percentage, it is recommended that Texsoft TL1 is applied between 2 and 4% of the weight of the tissue being processed.
